Dodge has been making trucks since 1917. For over 100 years, RAM Trucks have been one of the most sturdy, rugged yet advanced trucks one can purchase across the world.
It wasn’t until 1981 that the name ‘Ram’ was alongside Dodge’s. RAM had been a part of Dodge’s history since the 1930s but since the early 1980s RAM trucks have been a huge success for Dodge and the two names have become synonymous.
In the initial years, their Trucks featured a RAM hood ornament at the front of the vehicle. The RAM signifies authority, force, and fearless robustness. In the 1990s the ornament was replaced into a consistent, identifiable badge – creating the RAM logo we know of now.
Traditionally, RAM trucks always featured a ‘Big Rig’ style bed that helped build the vehicle’s popularity. In the early 2000’s RAM trucks added to their signature trunk by improving their suspensions, handling, steering, and braking systems, making it the obvious choice for pick-up truck enthusiasts.
To keep up with the times and the increasing demand for the latest technology, RAM trucks stayed true to its identity while seamlessly adding a best-in-class infotainment system along with laundry list of amenities making it one of the coziest of cock-pits featured in a pick-up truck.
